Message to the Mitch, John, and the Republican National Committee

Dear Mitch, John, and the RNC,

It wasn’t a Republican win tonight and you know it. This was a win for traditional American values; the same values that Ronald Reagan articulated; the same values coalesced into Government by the Framers; the same values that some would call Conservative. Tonight was the majority of Americans voting against the self-evident anti-American leftist beliefs the Democrats hold and have driven us towards for 40 years, culminating in the win by, and representation of, Obama. Conservatives were ultimately betrayed after 1994 by Newt Gingrich and again by George W. Bush slowly compromising away to, and in some cases promoting, much of the Left’s agenda. We remember.

Thank God for Obama. Ann Coulter was correct in her pre-election position that Obama should win to wake Americans up after the damage the Left will do after winning the 2008 elections. They did and America reacted. It was nothing, repeat nothing, the Republicans did. In fact, it was in spite of Republicans and he proof was in initial Republican attacks on Tea Party backed candidates. But you now have the luxury, courtesy of the American people, to rescue us from the damage done. We only hope it isn’t already fatal, the cause buried somewhere in the thousands of pages passed and signed into law but never read.

Don’t forget this lesson. We’re not going back to sleep. More true conservatives to come in 2012. Oh…and without a purge of the RNC, we will keep working to make them irrelevant and send money directly to our conservative candidates, no matter how liberal their state is. The only thing to prevent this is not making it to 2012 before a complete collapse of the US economy and breakdown of social order never seen before in this country. Think Weimar Republic….

Conservative principles, conservative principles, conservative principles. Save our country and uphold your oath to the Constitution.

Enough is Enough! My Tea Party Anthem

Netizen Kane has not posted in a while just because we’re damn busy with real life. While attending Joseph Farah’s “Taking Back America” Conference in Miami, I decided to record my very special ode to Liberal Democrats and put it on the net. It is not intended for anyone namby-pamby about their politics, especially those RINOs in the Republican Party. It’s about as subtle as a chain saw. It also demonstrates that Conservatives rock…

Somebody get this to my hero Ted Nugent! He’d love it!

It’s also available on iTunes under “Netizen Kane”.

Enough is Enough! Enjoy, all you Red Meat Right Wing Rockers!

Roadblocks and Pathways – 8/28 Restoring Honor Weekend

Traveling to get to Glenn Beck’s 8/28 Restoring Honor Rally at the Lincoln Memorial became one of those “weird” patterns of re-occurrence that, when recognized, makes you ask God: “Are you trying to tell me something?” Certainly, I felt an urging, a whisper to go; the kind where some prayerful reflection makes you choose right or left at the fork in the road.

I followed my usually efficient and stress-reducing approach to air travel: Prior night packing, on-line check-in with pre-printed boarding passes, curbside baggage drop before long term parking, etc.. This usually gives me plenty of time to be subjected to the TSA Rat Maze with their new “show-us-your-privates” millimeter wave imager, and still have time for a leisurely cup of coffee at the terminal Star Bucks.

Of course, I had things to do “in my other job” Friday morning before getting to the airport because the step-by-step bureaucracy had broken down earlier in the week. Yep….first roadblock to getting on the road. My “half day” suddenly became 6 hours instead of 4 to complete a project that had to be finished “NLT COB”, no exceptions. Ok….so maybe it was bad planning on my part, like “ Dang! I should have known we could hit an iceberg in the Caribbean.”

With work done and any buffer time stripped from my schedule, I flew low to the ground just getting to the airport one hour before the flight. “Well”, I thought, “at least I can save a few minutes at curbside baggage then go straight to the gate after parking”. No so fast. With motor running and bag on the curb, I waited for the attendants to come back from wherever they went. And waited….and waited. Yep, not so fast. After 8 minutes of patience and two police officers eye-balling me, I give up on that time-saver, loaded back up and headed to long term parking, keyword being “long”. Really, a quarter mile from the terminal isn’t all that bad, unless you’re pressed for time….and it starts to rain.

After parking and thankful that the rain held to a light sprinkle until I got under the covered walkway, I jogged my way to the terminal. With backpack flopping and the pull cart suitcase wheels rumbling on the asphalt I passed the now-returned and much-too-smiley attendant, now on duty, helping those that came after.

Checked in with no substantial problem, except for the professional traveling sales guy before me chatting up the only counter agent on duty, all because he wasn’t going anywhere for a couple of hours anyway and was as relaxed, unstressed, and unhurried as I would be if my plans had worked out. Ok, so, I have to work on my patience. Still, it was cutting it close to get my one checked bag actually on the plane.

Security was routine, boarding was routine, and finally got in my assigned seat with a sigh of relief. 10 minutes later the very perky flight attendant let us all know that we will be delayed until the mechanic gets a plumbing problem fixed and signed off by the pilot. Oh joy. That turned into 45 minutes. I had roughly an hour, if arriving on time in Atlanta, to catch the flight to D.C.. It wasn’t looking good. When we did go gears-up, a good bit of time was made up in the air and on landing, I had 30 minutes to make the connection…..3 terminals away. No problem…take the airport train and get there with time to spare.

Made my way down the escalator and waited patiently on the train, which runs about every 3 minutes in the Atlanta airport (still working on that patience thing). As I watched the count-down clock I noticed that it was getting to zero and then resetting, adding 35 seconds one time, then 50 seconds, the 45 seconds……….and still no train. After 5 or 10 minutes of being assured the train was coming, the pronouncement of the professional train time announcer said the choo-choo was definitely out of service.

Are you still with me here? 3 terminals away and 20 minutes until the scheduled flight takeoff and it’s off to the races. I did the best I could, sometimes saying “excuse me – pardon me” as I tried to take to the moving walkway, but they were mostly jammed packed, so I mostly just had to jog through the regular walking crowd.

You know what comes next: The FAA 10-Minute Rule. Close the boarding door 10 minutes prior to takeoff. I missed it by seconds and there was no agent at the counter to even hear my plea. The plane was still there and there was no way I was getting on it.

It was at this moment that the days series of delays struck me as a sort of “stars lining up against me”, as though maybe God didn’t want me to go.

I did eventually made it to Washington that night on a later flight, exhausted, with more of the little things seemingly getting in the way, and I still felt this compelling tug – not really knowing why – to get to this rally.

To make this long story short, by the end of the 8/28 rally, and having personally witnessed the half-million people there and being one of those same half-million voices singing “Amazing Grace” in unison at its end, I realized that it wasn’t God at all throwing roadblocks in my way; It was Him urging me forward in spite of troubles. It was a profound moment, because at the same time, I also felt the nature of the forces that impeded my getting there.

I thanked God for His blessing, feeling the hope of turning our nation around by turning to Him. Being there with 500,000 others, most very much like me and taking part in that struggle, I felt the simple message that we sometimes forget: I was not alone.

Atlas Shrugged? Atlas Collapsed and Died in 2010

Congratulations to Yaron Brook for getting a great article on Ayn Rand’s masterwork “Atlas Shrugged” published at “Investors.com”.

Anyone that can bring discussion to the book in its correct context is my hero. But it’s an absolute mystery to me how Brook, the Executive Director of the Ayn Rand Institute and the Ayn Rand Center of Individual Rights, got past the IBD editors! Did they really understand it? I mean, Atlas collapsed and died in 2010!

Ayn Rand’s biggest enemy in life, besides evil Statists (and some would say “herself”) were Business Owners whose amorality or ignorance was such that they’d sell their souls for government favoritism at the risk of their own, and our, lives. That pretty much sums up the majority of large corporations today. Her characters of Galt, Rearden, Taggert became her archetypes of ultimate moral living by serving their self-interest while completely respecting the rights of others as individuals. No “Think Global” or “Green” PR campaigns for her people….no friggin’ way!

If you have half a brain, read Atlas Shrugged. She chose the format of fiction in the same fashion that Marxists used “Socialist Realism” to get their message absorbed through cultural venues (it’s a term that’s been purged from the masses). Even as a novel of fiction, it is a tough read. Don’t expect to knock it out over a weekend at the lake.

If you have a whole brain, take it one step further and read her compilation of articles in “Capitalism – The Unknown Ideal”. Who knew she once wrote a weekly column for the Los Angeles Times? Could you imagine that today? Just think Ann Coulter as Editor at the New York Times. It would be hard to believe, like imagining a Marxist could ever be elected President of the United States.

And it you have a decent IQ, dig into her “Introduction to Objectivist Epistemology”. Your brain will fill up and start leaking out of your ears.

While you may not agree with all of Rand’s concepts (still not sure if she was atheist or agnostic) you’ll be a better thinking human for having read her works, and will have a better vocabulary to boot! At a bare minimum, you’ll at least know the answer to “Who is John Galt?”.

Journolist or Jurinalist?

So — finally — a bunch of mainstream media wonks get busted with their own words, “revealing” what we’ve always known them to be: a bunch of leftist propagandists and Butt-Boys-For-Obama. Hats off to the WSJ for taking themselves off the DC invite lists with this story on the “Journolist” list server. If it surprises you in any way that the Mainstream Media actively conspire to control what you read to mold what you think by pushing their Leftist Agenda, then you probably can’t read this anyway and stumbled across it while trying to download video games. But hey, if you replace the Zombies with the “Journolist” writers from Politico, New Republic, et al, in , say Doom 10, and call it “The Jurinalist Special Edition”, some folks would rush to Best Buy for an XBox 360….

Steele’s RNC Resignation? What Does it Matter?

EXCLUSIVE: GOP prepares as calls for Steele’s resignation grows

What does it matter if Steele resigns or is forced out? There are people lining up, all connected as part of the institutional Republican National Committee organization, that will gladly step up and start selling the conservative soap that everyone wants to hear. The entire organization is now a self serving, inside-the-beltway, business.

Only now, business isn’t as good as it once was, because people are waking up. The money is drying up because the base is bypassing them and sending money directly to conservative candidates, rather than the holy anointed chosen of the RNC. Why should the people support them when they’ve been just as much a part of the eradication of our founding Constitution principles over decades and helped create an out-of-control soft tyranny that is about to be forever institutionalized?

Keep the soap for yourselves, RNC. You’ve made yourself irrelevant. By comparison, even the Marxists that took over the Democratic National Committee have something you don’t; they’re ideologically driven, committed, and effective. Hell, even top Republican Beltway Insiders like Rove are having to form fund-raising 527 organizations because of your impotence.

The whole RNC needs to be replaced with honest patriots willing to actually sacrifice themselves as our founders once did, rather than compromise America out of existence. The people in this institution are a pathetic lot who should all be ashamed for their part in America’s demise.

General McChrystal: Roping the Obama Dope

UPDATE: Yep. ***********

So General McChrystal speaks up and out on the Obama Administration. Bad judgment? Insubordination? How about “Tactic”?

General McChrystal is no idiot. He has spent the better part of his life living up to the basic tenet of his oath: to defend and protect the Constitution of the United States from all enemies foreign and domestic. Even though Obama is “Commander-In-Chief” McChrystal is a senior military officer and is free to follow his conscience and accept the consequences. To use the military parlance, this appears more like a tactical feint retreat than a mistake; that’s a bit like a Mohammad Ali style “Rope-a-Dope” for those unfamiliar with deceptive tactics.

I believe this clearly signals that he wants out of a corrupt administration, and wants to raise a warning flag to the rest of us of just how dangerous to the United States the Obama Administration is. We shall see for ourselves soon enough.

Tale of the Google Tape

Only 14 direct hits on a Google search for “Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act”. The biggest search engine on the Internet, on a story about control of the Internet, and only 14 hits!? Not one, repeat, not one story from a major newspaper or syndication. And of the 14 hits, there was only one “B-Teamer” article at the Boston Globe who editorialized glowingly in favor of the bill. Undoubtedly, the Mainstream Media Usual Suspects know that the bill’s target is the real free speech practiced by their blogger competition.

Thanks to Matt Drudge and those hyper-vigilant folks at PrisonPlanet.com, the bill has gotten some exposure. Maybe the MSM will get around to mentioning it after it passes. Guess they won’t be writing any more stories on China’s control of the Internet after it becomes policy in the United States, unless it’s to glowingly approve.

Day after day, the Federal Government demonstrates that it is putting more and more controls on the American people. It’s like setting up our liberties as dominoes, lining them up to be taken down in rapid succession. And just as dominoes fall, such will be the quickness of the “fundamental transformation” of our form of government. The planned and intentional crash and takeover is coming.

Obama Hires Another Marxist

Aaron Klein has ID’d another Marxist, Robert Scott, to join Obama’s Marxist-based Administration and Democratic Party Team. Ben Scott has been “selected” for a gig at the State Department.

Scott authored a book, “The Future of Media,” which was edited by the founder of Free Press, Robert W. McChesney. McChesney is an avowed Marxist who has recommended capitalism be dismantled.”

If I were to guess, like the minions under Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels, Scott will be a busy worker-bee to help solve the problem of a “free press”; working to institute and integrate international mechanisms to attain complete government control of information and it’s dissemination. That’s probably pretty close to his funtion, though I guarantee his true roles and responsibilities won’t be found in the laughable and bureaucratic job description.

He’ll simply be another cog in the machine of “Change” and “Transformation” into the global, Marxist Criminocracy.

Best Analysis of Illegal Immigration Cost to US Taxpayers

Read a 2007 analysis by the Heritage Foundation rather than the recent namby-pamby of he-said/she-said jurinalism on the cost of Illegal Immigrant to us taxpayers of the United States. Of course, because of its date, it doesn’t include the additional billions they’ll now get in free healthcare under Obama.
